My objective as Sara Ribeiro Cerâmica is to have the least environmental impact possible. From the creation of the pieces to packaging and shipping.

In the creation of pieces, there is a reuse of materials and raw materials (such as clay, glaze and water) seeking to give new life and artistic expression to pieces that are damaged or have deformities. These raw materials are purchased from national and local companies.

The packaging is carried out using alternatives to plastic with ecological and sustainable materials, such as popcorn filling. These, placed on your order, are entirely made from cornstarch, making them 100% compostable and sustainable. If you do not want to reuse the popcorn fillers, you can put them in water – dissolving them – or deposit them in a composter.

Both the boxes and the paper used for packaging are recyclable.

Each piece is shipped with a clay medal with my logo, scented with lavender essence – with calming and antiseptic characteristics, conveying a relaxing and well-being experience.

Since clay is a porous, natural and biodegradable material, you can reuse the scented medal and put it in any fragrance you like. This way, the clay absorbs and releases it; or you can place it in a box or drawer!

The lavender essence is organic and pesticide-free. It regenerates soil without contaminating it and respects aquatic ecosystems. It requires little maintenance and because it is a plant rich in pollen, allows for pollination, balancing the ecosystem!

I will progressively diminish the environmental impact of Sara Ribeiro Cerâmica, seeking to reduce my carbon footprint and contribute to a more ecological and eco-conscious world.
